Help for Christina Kuecker
On September 7, 2011 Christina Kuecker was driving her motor scooter to work when she was struck by another vehicle going to a job that she recently started and she was very excited about. Christina rode the scooter when ever possible because she was very conscious of our environment.
She was thrown from the scooter and sustained severe head and brain trauma despite the fact that she was wearing a helmet, which did save her life.
Currently she is in a coma and it is expected that she will be in Intensive Care for SEVERAL months.
Christina and her husband Christopher purchased a home that was in dyer of rehabilitation. They purposely bought a house that was, in most of our eyes, beyond repair. The home, built just after the turn of the last century, had been a former hangout of crack cocaine addicts and had been so poorly maintained that some walls where literally pulling away from the main structure. But Christina can see the beauty in anything and knew this was a place that she and Christopher belonged. The home, small in dimension and already constructed, was the most responsible and environmentally way to live.
Christina and Chris were very excited about the project and had started working on their home. Due to Christina's accident. Work has been halted and funds are short. There are improvements that NEED to take place before winter.
We are raising funds to help with mounting medical, legal and home improvement expenses.
Christina is the light of our life and we would be most appreciative for any funds they receive.
